Here is the scenario we are attempting to resolve with procedure or practice:
We revised the Procedure on 6-18-2021- See Attached File
A request comes to one county agency-(County Agency X) but they do not have a driver available. However, upon contacting another county agency-(County Agency Z) who does have a driver available. If all goes well County Agency Z bills County Agency X and all is well and good.
However, there are many what ifs that need definition. What if County Agency Z (supplying the driver) receives a request later for the same day and driver which ride has priority? How is priority of requests set?
The use of this procedure allows for expansion of ridership for each County!
Any advise, guidance, insights, wisdom or references would be greatly appreciated.
